Danish Pastry with Cream Cheese & Jam)
Ingredients:
Danish pastry dough (from above)
4 oz (115g) cream cheese (softened)
2 tbsp sugar
½ tsp vanilla extract
½ cup fruit jam (raspberry, strawberry, or apricot)
1 egg (for egg wash)
Instructions:
Roll out dough and cut into 4-inch squares.
Mix cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
Place 1 tbsp cream cheese mixture and 1 tsp jam in the center.
Fold corners inward to make a diamond shape. Brush edges with egg wash.
Bake at 190°C (375°F) for 15–18 min until golden.
