Apple Cinnamon Danish

  1. Ingredients:

    • Danish pastry dough

    • 2 apples (peeled, diced)

    • 2 tbsp sugar

    • ½ tsp cinnamon

    • 1 tbsp butter

    • 1 egg (for egg wash)

    Instructions:

    1. Cook apples with butter, sugar, and cinnamon until tender. Let cool.

    2. Roll out dough and cut into squares.

    3. Spoon apple filling into center, fold corners over or braid strips.

    4. Brush with egg wash. Bake at 190°C (375°F) for 15–20 min.

    5. Optional: drizzle with icing sugar glaze.
