Danish Pastry with Cream Cheese & Jam)

  1. Ingredients:

    • Danish pastry dough (from above)

    • 4 oz (115g) cream cheese (softened)

    • 2 tbsp sugar

    • ½ tsp vanilla extract

    • ½ cup fruit jam (raspberry, strawberry, or apricot)

    • 1 egg (for egg wash)

    Instructions:

    1. Roll out dough and cut into 4-inch squares.

    2. Mix cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.

    3. Place 1 tbsp cream cheese mixture and 1 tsp jam in the center.

    4. Fold corners inward to make a diamond shape. Brush edges with egg wash.

    5. Bake at 190°C (375°F) for 15–18 min until golden.
